Do The Work

Do the Work: Overcome Resistance and Get Out of Your Own Way

In this book Do The Work, Steven Pressfield points out the common enemy called the Resistance which works against each of us, all the time. It feeds procrastination that makes us delay what we should do. Upon defining clearly what that enemy is, Steven Pressfield shows us how to overcome that enemy and get our work done.

This book is short and its layout is fun to read. It makes me feel like I’m listening to a coach who shows me how to overcome my “laziness” while motivating to me to get up and charge forward again. If you feel like you always have lots of things to do but don’t know how to tackle each situation productively, this book is for you. It will get you fired up with a good solution to the common problem of procrastination. And the next book I recommend you to read is: ReWork by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson
